Last week I’ve been wrapping my head around variables. They’re trickier than you’d think, but I managed to make things work and now I’m using them more efficiently than ever.
I’ve been a bit stuck on what to do with the next dungeon — I don’t want boring, linear hallways. Each dungeon will have its own unique theme, but that does take time to plan out. The trade-off? A more memorable experience with every single one.
Aside from that, I’ve been focusing more on coding things myself instead of just using drag-and-drop logic. While that doesn’t directly affect Nyx (yet), it gives me a lot more freedom for future projects.
This week was mostly behind-the-scenes work: learning how to code smarter and be more efficient overall. No screenshots this time — I don’t want to spoil everything. 😏
🧠 Question of the week:
What’s your favorite game genre — and why?
